Want to try out our Resilient Kids Club but don't want to commit to the full 6 week session? Just book for the dates that work for you, or the classes you think your child would be most interested in!

Our Resilient Kids Club aims to foster resiliency and confidence in children aged 4-8 through mindful activities, cooperative games, and creative projects.

To book multiple classes, you will need to add to cart separately (ex. add Oct 8 to cart, then Oct 15).

Here is a week by week guide of our fall session:

October 8 - Children will learn how to do a body scan to promote self-awareness (ex. Does my brain feel busy? Is my stomach hungry?). We will then play a cooperative game where the children must work together to achieve a common goal. We'll end the evening by creating nature mandalas, a creative and relaxing activity.

October 15 - Children will introduced to a guided meditation activity where they picture their favourite place, and incorporate our senses to imagine being there (what does it look like? What do we hear, smell, etc). We will then transition into a cooperative game that uses our sense of hearing, followed by creating a "best things about me" project.

October 22- Children will get the opportunity to complete the "chocolate chip test", a tasty activity that introduces children to mindfulness. We will then play a bean-bag toss style game, where we discuss things we can and cannot control (using relatable examples from home, school, and friendship groups). We'll finish the evening with a cotton ball smash art activity.

October 29- Join us for our Halloween bash! We'll do a spooky scavenger hunt, take part in a Halloween guided meditation, and make pumpkin stress balls. We'll finish with a haunted dance party.

November 5th - This week we'll be taking about our worries! A great class especially for children with anxiety. We'll start with a mindful activity inspired by the children's show Bluey, followed by creating our very own worry boxes. Finally, we'll make some beaded bracelets that can help us breath when we are overwhelmed by big feelings.

November 12- On our final class of the fall session, we will complete a grounding activity that helps us when we are stressed or are having big feelings. We'll talk about using colours to represent our emotions, and create a unique piece of art based on our current emotions.
